Simone Munsters, graduated in 2013 from the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Maastricht (NL). She did internships in Amsterdam, London and Lima. During these internships she gained a lot of experience in pattern cutting, editing materials, creating artworks and technical drawings.

To start a collection Simone likes to make collages on intuition, with a fine use of colours and sharp interesting lines. These collages are an important given to play with different compositions. While making a collection she experiments with different materials and fabrics. The specific characteristic of her designs is that she can edit a piece of fabric in such a way that another completely new piece of fabric is created from it. She loves to make use of different techniques such as laser printing, digital printing, screen-printing and manual techniques. This emerges very well from her work.
